You will get to talk to several model railroaders and see their layouts, displays and rolling stock.

This is what you will learn

You'll learn that you don't have to work (or volunteer) at a railroad to enjoy railroading. This is something that you can do at home or in clubs and you don't have to wait until you're 18. You will learn all about the different model railroading scales and see examples of each.

We also use this station to talk about different types of railroad equipment. You'll see passenger cars, locomotives and all kinds of freight cars. While you will see many of these in full scale out in our yard during the day, it is a lot easier to see them all here in miniature.
