This is what you will do

You will get to talk to the people that maintain the tracks here at the Whitewater Valley Railroad. You will see the tools and equipment that they use and even get the chance to drive a railroad spike for yourself.

This is what you will learn

You will find out that railroad tracks require constant maintenance in order to maintain safe train operation. You will learn that it takes a variety of skills to work in a track maintenance department. All the way through this station, you will be reminded that while working with the tools and machinery in the track maintenance department, safety is a must!
